Cascade Head Biosphere Collaborative

The Cascade Head Biosphere Collaborative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a thriving and sustainable future for the Cascade Head Biosphere Region on the Oregon Coast. As part of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Program, the Collaborative brings together scientists, artists, educators, and local communities to advance environmental stewardship, sustainable tourism, and climate resilience. Through research, education, and creative engagement, the Collaborative works to ensure that nature has rights, art illuminates science, and research drives action to protect and sustain this unique coastal ecosystem. Underbrush Art

Underbrush Art is the creative work of Danelle Jones, a time traveling artist here on the Oregon coast. She is half badger and frequently gets confused about what belongs outside and what belongs indoors. Her best friend is a jackalope who packages the artwork and handles social media. Operations are managed surprisingly well by three cats in a trench coat.

Our story: Founded by Women, Built for Adventure

ODSS was started by women- mothers who felt that time outdoors built resilient and confident kids.  

What began as gear for outdoor schools has grown into a mission; helping all families get outside more.  Whether it's stomping through puddles, exploring the woods, or just embracing the elements, outdoor play fuels independence, creativity and grit.  Parents and caregivers rely on our wide assortment of kids' outerwear to equip all outdoor adventures with a complete range of kids’ outerwear for any region, weather and climate.  The brands carried by ODSS have been vetted & approved by outdoor educators and families.  Because getting outdoors does not need to be complicated.
