Last Year's NVS Graduates
Samatha Jackson plans on attending Nestucca High School
and then Oregon State University, majoring in science, before
earning an additional degree in Veterinary Medicine. On
graduating from NVS, Samantha says, "It's so exciting and I
think going to high school will be one of the best experiences
ever!"

Josh Barret will be attending Taft High School and looks
forward to being a part of their soccer team. After he
graduates from Taft, he plans to go to Manchester City,
England and play soccer for Manchester United. AS for how he
feels about graduating from NVS, "It's scary and exciting!"

John O'Connell will be gong to NEstucca High School and
aspires to be an IT (Industrail Technology) technician for his
professional career. On the subkect of graduating from NSVS,
"I feel happy, but bittersweet is a good word. I am looking
forward to high school."
Congratulations to NVS Alumna
Elizabeth de Rham for receiving the community service
award from Stanford University in June 2006, "The Walk th
Talk Service Leadership Award." Each year since 1997,
the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford has
honored five seniors with this award which recognizes the
public service activities of students involved in service
through Haas Center. Students selected for the award are
honored for their long-term commitment, and the
behind-the-scenes work of building organizational
infrastructure that is not often acknowledged.
A Word From Past NVS Teacher Herb Jahncke
Herb Jahncke writes that he has just accepted a position
with Catlin Gabel school in Portland, Oregon as a 2nd
grade teacher, so he and his family will be moving from
Seattle, most likely mid-August.

Crystal Green (NVS Alum) was married on the Neskowin Beach
last Summer, George Thompson (NVS Founder) officiated!
